The Holy Taco!

As a kid in San Pedro, we were lucky enough to have a ice cream lady and my favorite frozen treat was the Choco Taco. So about a month ago I found out that we sold them in the cafe part of the restaurant that I work at, and I had no choice but to indulge in the sweet chocolate treat I have yearned for since I was a young boy on the hot streets of sunny southern California. HAHAHAHAHAH, I thought that was hilarious.
So anyway back on with the story, One night i was watching the tv show "No Reservations," starring Anthony Bourdain and they were somewhere in Europe where they were deep frying random things that you would never think of.
I have heard of deep fried ice cream at some of the local Mexican restaurants and of the deep fried twinkies before. There was some waffle batter already made so I grabbed some and did the damn thing.
It came out amazing, we sprinkled some powder sugar on top and went to town on it. I knew it was to  much to eat the whole thing by myself, so I gave the other half to my friend. As soon as we cut into it chocolate and ice cream came spewing out, so we quickly gobbled it down. Our hands dripped with ice cream and chocolate. It was probably the best minute of my life eating probably the greatest dessert treat in the world, haha.

Pint Night @ Woodstocks

Gotta love pint night, every Wednesday for the past four months me and my group of friends go to pint night at Woodstocks Pizza in downtown San Luis Obispo.
Ok how it works is, you buy your first pint for $2.50, which come with your glass and beer. Now every time you go back you refill your beer for 1-2 dollars depending on what kind of beer you want.
You can easily get a cool little buzz off of six bucks, or you can just enjoy a couple beers with a slice of their delicious pizza.
I always go for the Amber Bock, that refills for $1, then I get two slices of pepperoni pizza.
I forgot to add that their pizza has a special as well  for 1.50 per slice tell 11 o'clock, which is when pint night ends.

Family?

Hey guys, i just got a new tattoo for my Nina LaLa, who passed away little over a year ago. She was my grandmas sister, and the last of the elders in my family, all that's left in my eyes, is her son Robert and my mom and dad.
Why is it that when a huge part of the family like a grandmother or grandfather pass away that people split up and suddenly are at each others throats, when the desist would want everyone to carry on as if they were here and remain as one big family.
When i was a little kid, I would come to San Pedro to visit my family every summer, I would stay for a month or two then go back home to Maui. It was awesome seeing my Grandma Lucy and my family, we would BBQ like it was going out of style. We would have some of the best Mexican food I have ever tasted. It left me with some good memories, like the first time I laughed so hard I started to cry, now which is rare but i savor every moment of it when it happens.
My Grandma Lucy was the best, she made some of the best food in the world, and always was there for me. She was my best friend.
Once we moved San Pedro, we lived with her for a couple year until we got situated. Every morning she would make little chorizo burritos and send me off to school.
I miss waking up to the smell of her cooking, I remember one time when I told her that I didn't like eggs and wanted just chorizo without them. She laughed and made me just chorizo and it was greasy not like what I was use to, I didn't know the difference but she then added eggs and it was amazing again.
I miss those days, but after she passed all of the family I once had slowly but surely disappeared. The tri-plex that my grandma owned housed the majority of my family, and when she passed her sister didn't want the house, so next in line was my mother so she took it.
One thing led to another and I don't really want to get into the whole situation, cause this will be longer then it already is, but my mom couldn't afford the house all by her self so she had to start charging rent. Now they didn't agree with that because of what every previous agreement they had with my grandmother. Well she passed on and my mother wasn't about to sell the house, so she had to charge for rent or everyone was going to lose the house.
Then the shit talking really begun and they fucked the house up and dipped out. I was young back then but now i realize what happened and it's fucking stupid how selfish people could be sometimes. Now realizing how my family was, I'm kinda glad that I no longer have contact with them, I feel like I am better off without them.
I now rile on my close friends and my adopted family, The Flores Family. I found that blood isn't always there for you and it sucks but once you realize it you can move on and forget, I have to figure out the forgive part, but maybe later on.
I love my friends and my new family, you know who you are.

LOKO STYLE

So this is my first blog, i have been wanting to blog for a while cause me and my group of friends get into some fucking weird crazy situations. As well as some straight up laughing riots that goes on until we are crying all of the water out of our bodies and are completely out of breathe with a throbbing headache.

This story for the first one was just kinda loko. So we were on our way home from the tattoo shop, my buddy tats at in Arroyo Grande Ca, heading west on Los Osos Valley Road and we some cars pulled over to the side of the road that indicated a car accident. And that street in that particular section is just straight with two lanes on each side and some small hill here and there, needless to say there weren't that many car accidents that happened over there.
So we thought nothing about it and we keep driving down the street to go home, and there was just one random car right in the middle of the road and there was a guy holding a girl and it appeared that she was crying but it was dark so we couldn't really tell, so that was weird cause it didnt look as if they were involved in the accident up the street.
So we keep driving down the street and we see more cars pulled over with their hazards on, and as we got closer we see this big as horse fucking going buck wild in the middle of the road so we slow down and we pull over.
Then we see why the those cars were pulled over on the side of the road a little ways back. One of them and hit a horse. The after we pulled over we got out to stop traffic before anymore cars hit this horse again, so we get out and then we see this other black horse running around in the street getting loko so my buddy slowly walked over and started pulling out some long weeds and grass to feed the animal to keep him on the side of the road so it wouldn't get hit too. There was a huge puddle of blood under the horse, it was laying on its side and kept on making horrible noises that i can still hear in my head. The worst part was when it would have convulsions and its head would smack against the street, that was gnarly.
So we stayed there until the local fire department came through, I'm not to sure if the horse made it. I'm just glad some other person did hit the black horse cause it was huge and even harder to see, there isn't really good lighting out there. People were still flying down the street all crazy cause the dumb people that were pulled over left a clear shot for someone to hit the horse again and were just in the car on there phones, I'm guessing to scared to get out of the car cause of the black horse that was running around.
If we wouldn't have gotten out of the car, someone probably would have hit the horse again and fucked their car up. I don't understand people sometimes.
